I was selling a property they were recommended through my Real estate agent, at the beginning they were very eager to help and get the account. But once the finance approval was done and everything was starting to go through their lack of communication with the buyers, agents, the banks and myself were very clear. Towards the end of the whole 2 months it took to settle I still had no idea who was looking after my account as they kept hand balling it to another person almost every time I emailed them. Both parties requested for early settlement and updates but got neither. I was always contacting them for an update. A couple of occasions I pointed out an error of information instead of owning their error they just passed the blame onto someone else. And when I let them know my frustration with their work, I then received very blunt emails. Up until the day of settlement I didn't receive an update on when was settlement until I emailed them. I've bought and sold properties before and dealt with other settlement agencies and Strand Legal and Conveyance do not reach the standards. It's always a very stressful time when buying and selling property and there are agencies hired to make it as stress free as possible. But dealing with this agency just caused me more stress and anxiety. I have given them 2 stars because in the end the job was done. But if the settlement process were to go over the due date it'll be a 0stars.
